How to clean your Kansa Wand?

As the Kansa metal is extremely sensitive due to its unique electro-conductivity, it should  be cleansed with care.

Using Pure Clay to clean the wand is the most effective way to remove any oil from the bronze. If the oil is not cleansed away properly and is continually used over and over again, the oil will stick to the bronze and will be more difficult to remove.

Please take a look at the shop for more information on the I am... Clay range that is available.

The clay is a multi-use product, which can be used as a face/body mask as well as a Kansa cleaner.

How to use the Clay:

Mix the clay with a little water to make a paste, apply to the bronze, wipe clean with a damp cloth. You can also add a drop of tea tree oil to the bronze, then buff with a dry cloth.  please remember to wipe the wand before using it again to remove any tea tree oil.

Don't forget that the Clay can also be used as a face/body mask, any leftover clay can be used to clean the wand.

  • Do not use Hot Water, only tepid water or cool water

  • Do not use anything harsh on the metal, never scrub with anything abrasive

How to clean the Teak handle:

Gently wipe the teak handle with a damp cloth, do not immerse in water. Buff dry with a cloth.

For salon use - after you have cleansed the Kansa tool, it can be placed into a ultra-violet cabinet for sterilising before the next client. I would advise using a separate tool for face and feet, for hygiene purposes.
