When Kansa is used on the body it feels cool to the touch which soon warms to the skin as you start working with it. During massage treatments to the face and back clients have commented how some areas feel cool and others warm. The bronze tool feels warm in areas that have tension, the bronze is gently warming the muscle, likewise in areas  of inflammation the wand may feel cold (more noticeable when massaging the back).  It is very gentle on the skin and doesn't drag the skin at all, in fact as the wand warms to the skin you will forget that in fact it is a tool due to the smoothness of the metal.
