Sardinian Red clay gets its rich red colour from Iron oxide. The clay has a strong alkalinity of 9.2pH. It also has an abundance of life enhancing nutrients and minerals including calcium, magnesium, sodium, copper, iron & potassium. When combined with water and left to dry on the skin as a clay mask it absorbs & draws out toxins/impurities from the skin & deep within the pores. This clay is perfect for any skin type especially mature skin, helping to boost the skins circulation, leaving the skin feeling soft & looking youthful.
To prepare a Clay Mask for the Face, Body or Hair:
Put the desired quantity of clay into a glass or wooden container. Add a few drops of water, using a non metallic spoon & mix to a smooth paste. Apply to the skin avoiding the eyes & leave on for 10-20 minutes (+/- depending on your skin type).
Rinse & apply your moisturiser.
To clean your Kansa Massage tool:
Mix as per instructions above and rub the paste on to the metal area with a soft cloth, remove the clay with a damp cloth and buff dry.
For sensitive skin please patch test first by mixing a small amount of clay and test behind your ear.
