What is Kansa?

THE "HEALING ANCIENT BRONZE METAL"

Kansa metal was first made in the Bronze Age approximately 5000 years ago, by the same people that developed the practices and principles of Ayurveda.

The sacred metal alloy, Kansa, is made up the highest quality metal consisting of copper and tin (with minute traces of zinc) which is 99.96% pure and does not contain any nickel or lead.

This ancient blend of metals is known in Ayurveda as the "Healing metal".  Kansa was made into many healing implements, and said to be one of the most unique alloys known to human kind. It has been used for centuries to enhance health and strength, increase energy, and support general well-being and longevity.

The healing ability of drinking and eating in Bronze vessels, has been documented in both Ancient medicines and alternative medicines in recent times.

In the western world Kansa is more widely  known as "Bell metal" and is used for making Bells. They use this particular metal because of the soothing sound it makes.

Kansa wellness tools  are now fitted with a seasoned and pesticide free Teak wooden handle for ease of use.

The healing properties of the metal  arise from massage using the wands and eating and drinking from Kansa dining ware. This has been documented in Ancient medicines as well as alternative medicines in recent times.  Kansa therapy has been practiced in India for centuries following the tried and trusted Ayurveda tradition.

For many years Kansa cups (as they were known then, before they had a handle) were used to promote health and well-being. Children's feet were treated before bedtime to promote sleep, reduce stress and balance their energy levels.

Ayurvedic Physicians often gave the family of their patients a Kansa cup to massage the patient at home.

As soon as you use the Kansa wellness wand on your face, foot or body you will instantly feel more relaxed.

My aim is to encourage use of the Kansa products so that every household owns Kansa wellbeing tools and Glasses to drink from. They will help relieve stress levels, promote a better health and well-being to all and provide a more restful sleep.

The benefits of massaging with Kansa Massage wands include:

WHY DOES MY SKIN TURN GREY WHEN USING THE KANSA MASSAGER?

Kansa or Ancient Bronze (copper plus tin with a trace of zinc) is a very sensitive metal.  Kansa is a very  effective transmitter of electromagnetism and reacts positively when acidity is present. This is a very beneficial part of its use on the skin..

The PRIMARY REASON for the greying effect is ACIDITY. The acidity reacts with the metal and creates a grey colour to the skin.

There is no need to panic when this happens, it is a positive action.  By using the Kansa wand you are eliminating excess acid/toxins.

I have researched the metal and found that copper increases energy and tin removes any excess.

If the greying occurs, all you need to do is wipe it off with a gentle cleanser, mist or even a little face oil to soften it and gently wipe with a soft tissue or cloth. Once you have finished with your wand remember to cleanse it as described below ready for the next session. The greyness doesn't occur with everyone and may only happen once in a while,  It depends on your health levels, how hard your skin has been working and how the environment has affected it.
